Day 26- Be who you've been. Be about what you've been about for years. Be you.

No photo today. This is really internal....

It's one thing to wax poetic about things in your life, as if you are some kind of expert or experienced "Yoda", but it's entirely something else to walk that walk. It's easy to talk, a simple task to preach and give advice, but when you encounter your own challenges, that is the time when you learn about who you are and what you're about. It's no easy task to be consistent, because it is completely natural to sway back and forth with the tide of what is all around you. Especially in this age of social media, where you are being bombarded with all kinds of information and opinions. all of this so called knowledge, it's easy to find yourself off-course from time to time. To be in a place that makes you question yourself. I think that is a real challenge, to allow yourself to feel those questions, and look deeply into yourself for what you really believe in, and then to see if you are strong enough to actually be who you have been building for your entire life. Also, I think it's important to be flexible, I mean, life is about change, too, for sure, but there is a core existence in all of us that is unique unto each individual, and so, this is our dilemma. How do we stay who we know ourselves to be? In some ways, it's really easy, and clear, but in other ways, it's incredibly complicated and sometimes a real uphill climb. I struggle with this sometimes, for sure, we all do, and this is what has been on my mind as of late. Being off of social media has allowed me to listen more to my own voice, and I have to admit, that has been kind of painful and isolating for me at times. But also, it has been really present. Like I can't get away from my own voice, and that is some deep stuff. We live in an age of all kinds of voices coming our way, constantly and incessantly, and so, I am here, present, and listening to myself, and learning more than I have in a very long time. I'm grateful for the moment, pushing ahead through the questions.

Thanks for coming by and reading this today, I hope this finds you well, happy and healthy and all good things like that, and I hope you have a beautiful rest of your day, and night, and as I always say, here's to a better world, for all of us.
