Day 2- What's my point?

It’s my second day without Facebook and Instagram on my phone, and it’s fine, and I’m not going to talk about it all that much anymore. I’m just gonna keep it moving, which is the whole point, right? To get my time back. My focus. To end this voyeuristic weirdness in my life, at least for a while, so that I can get a few really challenging and ambitious projects completed and ready to be shared with as huge an audience as I can possibly find. This is my mission. This is my point. To have all of myself available to be able to do the best work I can possibly do. To create great art, or at least my greatest art. To really contribute, using my best self. Living my best life. This is what I am doing right now, and I’m going to share this journey with anyone who happens upon my page, every day until I have tangible and finished work to share on stage, or on screen. This is the reason for my existence in this moment of my life. To do my best, and that requires some sacrifice, and a whole lot of commitment, and those are things that I have always been really good at.

Today I got up and I got on my massage table, and I stretched. Active Isolated Stretching. Stretching and strengthening. Breathing. I made myself a good breakfast. I’m off to visit the farmers market up in Rye, NY right now, to visit my friend Cris, who runs a booth there for Meredith’s Bakery, because I like going up there each Sunday and hanging out with him. A good excuse to get out of the city for a few hours, see a friend, and get some good food for the week. Then I’m going to come back here and work on my script for a submission that I’m making in about two weeks. It will be a day well spent. I hope you are having an equally fulfilling day. I thank you so much for coming here today, and any day that you might show up in the future. I will be here, and I will be sharing. Myself. My work. My opinions. My viewpoints. My process. My feelings. I’m here to share this movement that is my life, and my work, and I’m grateful to do that.

That’s it for today. Thanks again for being here, and see you again soon!! And have a beautiful day, and here’s to a better world, for all of us.
