Photography

I see the world in shapes, shades, colors and space, and I get to capture images that are all holding their own unique stories. Each photo owns energy of a moment that has passed, but lives forever in a snapshot that literally stops time. 

This is my latest collection, all around my beloved NYC, all shot with intention in black and white, but to show you how color and light can change the mood, I decided to include the raw, edited color files as well. Editing can be an incredibly creative process for photography, just like it is in filmmaking, and as much as I generally like to "get it right in-camera", I also understand the magic of taking advantage of pushing the colors and the contrast around in post production and how that can serve a great purpose as well, and so, the black and white photos are pretty much untouched, they are as I shot them as I saw them out on the street, but the color images are all edited, at least a little bit, because at the end of the day, I'm always looking for an image that is as organic as possible, that's my style, and so, I hope you enjoy this collection, and thanks for considering making some of these images a part of your personal collection, or perhaps a great gift for someone you love.
